SHELF BRACKETS Hand Forged by BLACKSMITH

This pair of hand forged shelf brackets will bring a warm, rustic feeling to any room .

The brackets are very elegant with a smooth curved "leg" that has been "hot punched" making a hole to let the "arm" of the shelf bracket pass through.

The arms and legs (let's call them that) are made with 1/2" round stock.

The wall and shelf plates are made from heavy 3" x 5/16" flat bar that have been hammered all around to give it texture and character. Also, each wall plate has been hot stamped with my logo punch "Naz".

For cleaning, I use the wire brush followed by a light sand paper. This highlights the hammer marks. I heat everything up again and brush on a traditional blacksmith anti-corrosion treatment for inside ironwork applied at a low heat.(This treatment contains beeswax and boiled linseed oil).I really like this finish as it leaves the bare metal to be seen with it's highlights and gives an excellent protection for inside ironwork.

Very strong, these shelf brackets will last for generations.

Total height is approximately 21".

Distance from wall to the far extremity of top plate is approximately 7 1/2".
(Shelf in photos is 9" deep), could very well accomodate shelf anywhere from 9" to 12" deep.

Note : Shelf is not included.

Comes with 10 decorative wood screws that match the ironwork.
