Approximately 9 1/2 " high x 5 1/4"" wide, this horse themed knocker has one mission: save your knuckles...
Well, at least that was his primal purpose but he could also easily pass as a wall hanging forged sculpture.
I use a new horseshoe for the base of this door knocker, then forge the horse head & accesories to make it into a functionnal door knocker, at the bottom of the horse piece, I make a smooth curve for a better grip when using the knocker.
After cleaning, I clear coat the sculpture for protection and to keep the raw iron look.
Included are 4 decorative wood screws that match the ironwork.
