This hand forged business card holder was forged out of 1/4"round stock.
The 2 scrolls are made free hand and give this original card holder it's hand made feel, I've added a "stabilizing" bar behind the card holder to keep it stable when rested on a table top...
The stabilizing bar has a rubber "boot" at the bottom (to protect your table top and add even more stability) which is not shown in the photos...
Since they are handmade one at a time, each one may differ from one another or from picture shown but rest assured, if you like the ones you see here, you will also like yours.
I put a lot of importance in cleaning each card holder after it has been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I acheive the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each card holder with a clean, attractive look...
After cleaning, I clear coat the card holder for protection and to keep the raw iron look.
Made to last a few lifetimes !
