This decorative dragon hook is entirely hand forged.

Please note : The ones in the photos are ones I've made previously and may not be the actual one you will receive, but rest assured, if you like the one you see here, you will also like your's...

Each one starts out as 3/8" square stock steel and comes to life on the anvil under the hammer blows at a yellow/orange heat. Details are then added using hand held punches, also hand made (eye punch, nostril punch, etc...).

After the head is complete, it's back to the fire to heat and form the hook with a small belly at the end so there is no sharp, pointy tip at the hook end. (all made with the hand hammer).
Last hammer blow on the dragon is my logo stamp signature "Naz" along with the 4 stipes at the top & bottom.

I put a lot of importance in cleaning each dragon hook after it has been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I acheive the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each hook with a clean attractive look...

After cleaning, I clear coat the dragon hook for protection and to keep the raw iron look.

Since they are hand forged one at a time, they each have their own personality and character, not one is exactly the same.

Included are 2 decorative wood screws that match the ironwork.

Made strong to last long.

Total height of the finished hook is approximately 8 "
