FORGED CROSS PENDANT Necklace - Hand Forged by Blacksmith Naz - Iron Cross with Brass Rivet - Gift Idea for Him or Her - Christian Cross

Forged in fire, this is a smaller version of my original (large) cross pendant... This one measures measures approximately 1-1/2" high x 1" wide...

I use 2 pieces of solid 3/16" x 3/16" square bar, heat them up in the forge, give them a "real" hammered texture and hammer them "in" together, this creates a "bulge" at the touching point, two spot welds are added from behind and cleaned smooth ... I then add a hammered brass rivet...

Each one is unique.

I drill a small hole at the top of the cross and slide a large jump ring in place... The cord necklace is approximately 26" long and attaches with a clasp.

I put a lot of importance in cleaning my items after they have been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I achieve the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each item with a clean attractive look that is perfect for gift giving...

After cleaning, I clear coat the cross for protection and to keep the raw iron look.
