First, let's talk about the dragon's head, it starts out as 3/8" solid square stock iron and comes to life on the anvil under the hammer blows at a yellow/orange heat (Approximately 2000 degrees). Details are then added using handmade punches (eye punch, nostril punch, etc...).

After the head is complete, it's back to the fire to heat and form the body of the dragon with smooth curves.
To finish the dragon, I form a pointy tail ...

The edges of the metal are hammered to give that nice hand made feel it deserves.

Next, I add 5 hand forged hooks to the dragon's body...

There is not 1 inch that hasen't been hammered or bent or worked hot in some way on this item.

I put a lot of importance in cleaning my items after they have been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I acheive the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each item with a clean attractive look that is perfect for gift giving...
After cleaning, I clear coat the dragon rack for protection and to keep the raw iron look.

Signed with my logo "Naz" for authenticity, this original design metal sculpture is a highly decorative and functional piece of art that you will own for the rest of your life.

Lenght is approximately 12-1/2".

Included are 3 decorative wood screws that match the ironwork.
