This unique sculpture will not only be a conversation striker with your guests, it will also open up a cold one for you... (Would also be the perfect gift for the beer lover in your life)...

Forged from 1/2" round stock, the leaf was formed by spreading the hot metal, then the stem was "thinned" down to approximately 3/8" by hammering.

For the "working" end, I forged a smooth taper and formed a scroll so there is no pointy tip... Next I formed smooth curves so a part of the curve sits on top of the bottle cap and a hammered "dimple" smoothly lifts the cap off as you apply pressure upwards...

I keep the natural dark patina that formed from going "in and out" of the fire numerous times, then sanded the opener to highlight the hammer marks... The leaf has a brass accent that has been brushed on while still hot with a brass brush (no paint, the brass from the brush "melts" on the hot metal).

Signed on the back with my logo stamp "Naz".

Total lenght is approximately 8 1/2", the leaf is 1 1/2" wide...

Each one is made by hand and offer quality and originality that you simply can not get from a machine, the one in the photos is one I made previously, yours will be based and of equal quality as this one...
