***Original Design from Naz Forge***
This "Odor Eater" can take the heat !!... (I can't beleive I wrote that) !!...
Hand Forged out of one piece of iron... The one in the photos above is one I made previously and yours will be based on this one...
This dragon toilet paper holder started out as 1/2" round stock iron and came to life on the anvil under the hammer blows at a yellow/orange heat. Details were then added using hand held punches (eye punch, nostril punch, etc...)...
After the head is complete, it's back to the fire to heat and form the bar that will hold the paper roll. I enlarged the end of the bar so it serves as a stopper, this is called "upsetting" the bar in the blacksmithing world..
The dragon is signed (hot punched) with my logo "Naz".
I put a lot of importance in cleaning each item after it has been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I acheive the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each item with a clean attractive look that is perfect for gift giving...
After cleaning, I clear coated the dragon paper holder for protection and to keep the raw iron look.
This signed metal sculpture is a highly decorative and functional piece of art that you will own for the rest of your life.
Height is approximately 6" to 7" high...
Included are 2 decorative wood screws.
