Measurements for this decorative wall cross are 9" high x 6.5" wide... Weight is 1.2 Pounds.
The copper cross is fixed to the Iron backplate using traditional brass hammered rivets, both the copper cross & the iron backplate are hammered around the edges, this gives this original piece it's handmade warmth that can not be achieved with a machine.
Finishing options :
During checkout, you will have to choose between "Shiny" or "Blackened", please refer to the photos for reference...
1- Shiny Copper : After the hammering, the copper is cleaned off leaving it shiny.
2- Blackened Copper : After the hammering, the copper is blackened by the fire in the forge, then lightly sanded down, leaving the hammer marks highlighted in contrast with the darkened copper.
Each one is unique & treated with a protective clear coat, this leaves each item with a clean attractive look...
