DRAGON DOOR KNOCKER Hand Forged , Original Design by Blacksmith Naz, Iron Gift Idea

Blacksmith forged, this functional piece of wall (door) art will be a conversation striker (no pun intended) with all your guests.

This is the largest dragon head I've forged, it's made out of a 1-1/4" solid square iron bar, hand forged !

The back plate is 7"x7" with an overlaid other plate to add distinction to this original piece, all the edges of the iron plates are hammered to keep the hand made feel flowing through this unique functional sculpture... Another piece was made to act as a stopper where the knocker is swung and knocks onto.

My maker's mark "Naz" is stamped on a piece of copper and riveted to the main plate.

Included are 6 decorative wood screws that match the ironwork.

I cleaned everything up after the forging & assembly, I then clear coated the door knocker for protection and to keep the raw iron look.
(This clear coat protection is perfect for inside use, if it is to be used outside, it may need to be re-coated once in a while, or brought to a paint shop to have it powder coated with paint for the best outside use protection).
