FORGED IRON CROSS with Hammer Texture - Hand Forged by Blacksmith Naz - Iron Cross with Copper Rivet - Christian Cross

Forged in fire, this large cross measures approximately 6" high x 2-3/4" wide...

I use 2 pieces of solid 7/16" square bar, heat them up in the forge, give them a "real" hammered texture and force them "in" together, this creates a "bulge" at the touching point... I then add a hammered copper rivet...

Each one is unique.

I drill a small hole at the top of the cross and slide a large jump ring in place... I will include a decorative wood screw to accomodate wall hanging...

The personalized option will be available during the checkout process, if you choose (No Personalization), the cross will only have my maker's mark "Naz" stamped on the back...

Two different personalized options are available, up to 10 characters or up to 20 characters (letters or numbers), the personalization will be stamped on the front of the cross, if you'd prefer it to be stamped on the back please specify this at the (note to seller) during checkout, where you will also be able to leave the personalization of your choice...

Personalization suggestions : name, bible verse, proverb, etc...


Finishing options :
During checkout, you will have to choose between "Light Grey" or "Black & Grey", please refer to the last photo for reference...

1- Light Grey : The cross is wire wheeled to a uniform light grey.

2- Black & Grey : After it has been hammered and worked "in and out" of the fire numerous times, the cross comes out a dark black, I then use sandpaper to highlight the hammer marks but the deeper marks stay darker and gives a nice "2 tone" effect.

Both options are treated with a protective clear coat, this leaves each item with a clean attractive look...

PS : The ones in the photos are ones I've made previously, your's will be based and of equal quality as these ones...
